The Dinuba High School girls’ tennis team has continued to push forward with determination and growth. Though the season has presented its challenges, the players have shown resilience, steadily improving with each match under the guidance of Coaches Fadra Kiehn and Julie Haselhorst.
Facing tough opponents such as Sierra Pacific, Reedley, Kingsburg, Emmanuel, and others, the team has faced some difficult matches, yet they’ve learned valuable lessons each time they’ve stepped on the court. Coach Kiehn remains optimistic and proud of the team’s work ethic. She acknowledges that while the early season was a struggle, the effort and dedication the girls have put in are beginning to pay off. “Every match, win or lose, is a stepping stone,” said Mrs Kiehn.
Coach Haselhorst also emphasizes the importance of focusing on improvement. While scores don’t always reflect the strides being made, she points out that every player has made noticeable progress in their game. This season’s focus has been on building the team up, with each practice trying to improve skill and increase confidence.
As the season progresses, the Dinuba girl’s tennis team is not defined by the numbers on the scoreboard, but rather by the growth in their teamwork, determination, and ability to adapt. With a few matches left, the coaches remain hopeful that the girls will finish strong.
