The Dinuba High School boy’s soccer team has a strong start with a record of 5-2-2 according to MaxPreps. Here is how the start of the season has gone so far:
- November 14th was a scrimmage against Washington Union. The score was 2-1, with Washington Union taking the win over Dinuba.
- November 21st was a Home game against Cesar Chavez. The score for JV was 7-0. Varsity was tied with Cesar Chavez until the second half at the 57 minute mark that’s where Dinuba scored a goal which helped us win the game.
- November 22nd was an away game against El Diamante. The score was 4-1 with Dinuba Emperors taking the win over El Diamante.
- November 26th was also an away game against Selma. The final score for JV was 4-3 and Varsity’s score was 3-0 with this the Emperors taking the win over Selma.
- December 3rd was an away game against Sanger. Varsity was keeping up with Sanger up until halftime when Sanger made it’s move, taking the win over Dinuba with a score of 2-7.
- December 5th’s game was a Home game against Buchanan. The score for JV was 0-0 tie and the Varsity seemed on the same path to a tied game with Buchanan 1-1 at halftime. However, in the second half, Buchanan scored a goal which made the score 2-1 with Dinuba losing to Buchanan.
- December 13-14th was the Lemoore Tournament for Varsity which was played in Lemoore. The first game was with Templeton with a score of 2-1 with Dinuba taking the win, the second game was tied with Madera South, the third game was a win over Madera with a score of 3-2, and the last game was tied with Kerman with a score of 1-1.
