The last few weeks of March have given DHS seniors plenty to look forward to as we approach graduation season.
March 15- Fresno State, Accept Admissions
March 20- Reedley/Fresno City College Advising Day
March 25- San Joaquin Valley College Visit II
If seniors are interested in attending this event, they will need to sign up with the link on the “Senior Important Dates” calendar for the Google form. The event will take place in the Career Center.
March 25- COS build your schedule
Seniors who have met with the COS counselor will be included. This will take place in the Career Center. If students have questions or concerns, they can see Ms. Rivera.
March 25- Cap and Gown pick up
Seniors who ordered caps and gowns from Jostens can pick them up at 3 p.m. in the student union.
March 27- Provident-Salierno PVWH Senior Scholarship
This scholarship offers a $500 scholarship to 4 senior student athletes. To qualify, candidates must have the following: 2025 Graduate of any Tulare County High School, possess a minimum of 3.0 cumulative High School GPA, exhibit exceptional sportsmanship, school and community service, and leadership. If interested and plan to attend an accredited college/university as a full-time student, students must print and mail by this date. March 27- ASVAB Exam
If seniors are interested in joining the military, they can sign up to take the ASVAB test. To sign up, please go to the Senior Important Dates MASTER.
March 28- Cal Poly SLO
Seniors who were admitted to Cal Poly will attend this event in the Career Center.
March 31- Valley Oak Guild Scholarship
This scholarship is available to seniors and is due April 4th. Seniors must print out the scholarship from the Google Doc found in the Senior Important Dates MASTER.
March 31- Andrew Bedoya Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is due and needs to be turned in to the counseling office or sent to [email protected]. Seniors can find this scholarship in the Senior Important Dates MASTER.
