After many challenges and hours in the classroom, the CNA class of 2025 finally graduated. The CNA graduation took place in Dinuba High School’s auditorium. It was an elaborate graduation ceremony with a nice entrance and a pamphlet introducing the graduates and a little bit about the program. The graduates were in the foyer waiting for the families to get situated.
Once it hit 6:00, the graduates walked into a somber song, and they were cheered by friends and family. They were seated on the stage on a platform. After the students were seated on the platform, Mrs.Schuster started her introductory speech by thanking the families for attending and supporting their children and the CNA Class of 2025 for their hard work in passing the class. Mrs. Shuster then invited four student speakers to speak about their trials and tribulations because of CNA. The first student speaker was Sheila Perez, who spoke about CNA and how it made her come out of her shell, as well as thanking her mom for supporting her. The next speaker was Mariaina Birdman, who talked about how rewarding CNA has been and thanked her mom. The third speaker was Natalie Arias, who thanked her classmates, Mrs. Schuster, and her family for supporting her through CNA. The last speaker was Ava Aries, who talked about how much of an amazing experience CNA was and thanked her family for their support.
After all the speeches were concluded, they began to say the names of the graduating students. Each had their thank yous spoken out loud as well as a flower, a pin, and a certificate for passing all the requirements of the course. Mrs. Schuster then said her ending speech, where she congratulated her students’ hard work in passing the course as well as impacting the lives of the residents the graduates took care of. The graduates then stood up and walked out to a somber song, where they were cheered for by friends and family. After the graduation, families were free to take pictures with their child and celebrate their hard work and dedication.
Many of the graduates are hoping to get into the medical field, some hope to be nurses, others pediatricians, but needless to say, this class and graduation show that these students have a bright future ahead of them and will go on to impact others positively. This year’s graduates have all been amazing and unique in their way, It’s exciting to see what next year’s graduates will have in store!
