On Friday, October 24, 2025, Dinuba High School held its annual Pink Out football game in support of breast cancer awareness. The event brought together students, staff, alumni, and community members in a vibrant show of unity and school spirit, and of course, featured the highly anticipated crowning of DHS’s new 2025 Homecoming King and Queen, Aiden Gonzalez and Leslie Guillen.
During halftime, candidates Julian Hernandez and Jocelyn Perez Vargas, Aiden Gonzalez and Leslie Guillen, and Sebastian Guzman and Guadalupe Hernandez lined up on the track to await the big reveal. Each couple received a rose, but only one had red petals —a sign of victory. When Aiden Gonzalez and Leslie Guillen unwrapped their rose to reveal its bright red color, the crowd erupted in cheers.
Continuing the long-standing tradition, last year’s royalty, Eric Contreras and McKayla Soto, returned to pass down the crown to this year’s winners.
“My first thought was shock– I think it was shock,” Leslie said with a laugh. Aiden laughed and added, “I couldn’t believe it! I was looking at the rose for a long time.”
Surrounded by their supporters, the newly crowned King and Queen rode off the track in celebration.
“Thank you to everyone that supported us,” Aiden said. “We couldn’t have done it without everyone’s help.”
While the homecoming game was the centerpiece of the evening, the crowning of the King and Queen stole the spotlight, making it a night to remember for the entire Dinuba Community.
