As the Dinuba water polo team progresses, our school’s team has shown great growth and determination throughout the season. Teamwork and dedication to the sport are key in water polo, and the team is working hard to improve their skills and teamwork throughout this season. 

The team has faced tough competition this season, but their resilience is evident. Recent matches have showcased their hard work. Players are increasingly executing plays with confidence, and their defensive strategies are becoming more effective. The coaches always try to be supportive when it comes to the girls.  “We might have battled to win, we might have battled and lost but as long as we try our best that’s what matters,” states assistant coach, Brenna Montoya. 

Throughout the season, standout performances have been from key players who have been instrumental in keeping the team competitive. A prime example is Kathryne Forbes, the team captain. Whether it’s a powerful shot from the wing or a critical save by the goalie, she has shown great sportsmanship. She is also the top scorer. “Not only is she a great offensive player, but she is also a great defender and goalie,” says Montoya. 

As the season continues, the team is focused on building on its strengths and learning from each match. Upcoming games provide a chance to further develop its skills and showcase its hard work. With dedication and teamwork, there’s no doubt that our water polo team is poised for an exciting and confident finish to the season.
