The streets of Dinuba came alive on Saturday, December 7th, as the community came together for the Electric Light Parade. Every year, Dinuba comes together and shows its spirit in the Dinuba Christmas Parade. With the theme “Christmas around the World,” the parade featured 52 floats, each displaying different schools, places, and groups.
This year, the floats were part of a competition, with each entry fighting for top spots in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place categories. Judges closely observed each talent, adding excitement and anticipation to the parade.
Residents filled the streets in Downtown Dinuba, covered in jackets and lawn chairs, to enjoy the joyful atmosphere. Among the cold nights was the fourth float, led by Miss Dinuba Alexis Lopez. Her presence added an extra touch of elegance and energy to the parade as she expressed her emotions by waving.
The Dinuba High School Seniors led the 29th float. All the seniors expressed their heightened emotions as they sat on the float decorated with festive lights. Along with the 51st float was the Dinuba High School Band and Color Guard, which brought the whole night together by playing a Christmas march called “Twas the Parade Before Christmas.”
All the floats were brightly decorated and, including dancers and musicians whose sounds echoed through the streets, brought energy to the residents.
The Electric Light Parade once again brought the Dinuba community together, creating a night filled with joy, celebration, and holiday magic.
