This year, Dinuba FFA proudly sent 27 dedicated showmen to the Tulare County Fair, each representing the chapter with hard work, pride, and passion. Members exhibited a wide variety of livestock, including hogs, goats, lambs, and steers, each the result of months of early mornings, late nights, and countless hours of care and preparation.
Among the many impressive performances, Emmalee Kenney stood out, winning 1st in Market and earning Reserve Champion English Steer, along with a strong 4th place finish in Advanced Showmanship. Her achievements reflect both her commitment and skill in the show ring.
Kathy Ibarra and her goat, Tennessee, placed 5th in Market, while Micky Astorga and his goat, Bachelor, secured 3rd in Market. Clarissa Borojas also made an impact, placing 2nd overall in her lamb market class with Diamond. Additionally, Melanie Delgaillo and Natalia Camacho each achieved 1st place in Market, demonstrating the depth of talent across the team.

The fair was more than just ribbons and rankings; it was a celebration of growth, responsibility, and passion. As a graduate, Vanessa Figueroa shared, “Showing livestock has proved to be one of my greatest blessings. I learned a great deal through my time with my four-legged friends. I’d like to thank not only my animals but my advisors, friends, and parents for supporting me and allowing me to discover one of my greatest passions.”
Dinuba FFA continues to exemplify what it means to lead, learn, and grow both in and out of the show ring. The chapter’s success at the Tulare County Fair is a testament to the heart and hard work of its members, as well as the support behind them.
