Winter Formal is one of the most anticipated dance events here at Dinuba High School. Offering students a chance to dress up, dance, and create unforgettable memories with friends. The theme for this year’s Winter Formal was The Golden Gala with a nod to “The Great Gatsby.” The décor reflected the 1920’s and included casino inspired games.

Many students went and danced all night long to popular songs. Even when the music stopped students kept singing along and dancing. There was also an area where students could gamble with fake money with Mr. Popp’s picture. Next to it was a backdrop where students could take pictures, capturing memories of the night.

Guests enjoyed a variety of desserts including cake pops, Crème Brule cheesecake, gummies, and chocolates. Midway through the dance, they had a raffle where two students won an IHOP gift card and another two won free prom tickets.

ASB president Alexis Lopez stated, “I think the dance went well. A lot of people were dancing. The energy, the desserts, and the drinks were really good.”

The Golden Gala was overall a success, creating lasting memories for all who attended.
