The Shave Your Beard event took place on Wednesday, October 22nd. Our Dinuba High School CNAs participated in class, shaving students and teachers, including English teacher, TJ Celaya.

Mr. Celaya stated that he wanted to help his former students in training. He is a strong supporter of the CNA program and a teacher in the MED Academy.  He has seen firsthand the many success stories of former students.

The purpose of this event is to grant CNA students a chance to practice taking care of nursing home residents.  The event is a precursor to No Shave November, a fundraising campaign that supports cancer education and awareness.

Kelly Schuster is the teacher for the CNA class, and this is her first time doing an event like this. It took a lot of preparation, and she said she wanted to raise awareness of the CNA program at Dinuba High School.
