Super Bowl LX (60) is officially set. The NFC’s Seattle Seahawks (14-3) will face the AFC’s New England Patriots (14-3) on Feb. 8, in a rematch of a memorable Super Bowl XLIX (49).
In a year when many teams came out of nowhere and new players emerged, it will cap off with an ironic matchup. Many were excited not to see the Chiefs or Patriots in the Super Bowl, as they have consistently made the trip to the championship; 11 of the last 15 Super Bowls have featured either the Chiefs or the Patriots. Regardless, this game will still be a good one and will be at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Both of these teams rebuilt their rosters and exceeded expectations this season.
The Seattle Seahawks are led by quarterback Sam Darnold, who revived his career in Seattle. After being a backup just 2 years ago behind the 49ers’ Brock Purdy, Sam now has a chance to redeem himself and prove everyone wrong. Darnold threw for over 4,000 yards. His top target, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, became the league favorite to win Offensive Player of the Year after recording 1,793 receiving yards, along with 10 TDs this year. Kenneth Walker III has also been a major factor on the ground, rushing for over 1,000 yards and giving the Seahawks balance on offense.
One of Seattle’s major keys to success this season, and perhaps its strength, is undoubtedly its defense. Head Coach Mike Macdonald’s defense finished in 1st in the league in points allowed per game (17.2). They also ranked 6th in total yards allowed. The defense, nicknamed “The Dark Side,” emphasizes physicality and a “killer” mindset.
The New England Patriots are being led by 2nd year quarterback Drake Maye out of UNC. Maye has thrown for over 4,300 yards, with 31 passing touchdowns to 10 interceptions. His clientele consists of running back Rhamondre Stevenson and veteran receiver Stefon Diggs, who arrived from Buffalo this past offseason.
Cornerback Christian Gonzalez and safety Kyle Dugger lead the defense, becoming one of the league’s premier units. They ranked 4th in points allowed (18.8) and 1st in run defense, which will be key to stopping the high-powered Seattle offense.
Prediction
As a 49er fan, I am much more okay with the Patriots taking the Lombardi home, rather than Seattle. My prediction is 23-20 New England. It will be tough to score many points against the Seahawks’ defense, so the Patriots must score when they can. If the Patriots win, they will become the NFL’s leading team with the most Super Bowl wins, which will be their 7th. With a Seahawks win, they will earn their 2nd Super Bowl win.

One thing I liked about this article was that how it explained how every single player on the settle Seahawks had very good stats after the super bowl and also talked about how if the New England Patriots won the super bowl that would be the team with the most super bowl win.

I really liked this article about the super bowl because as a football player myself I like when articals do a deep dive into how many TD’s a team scored or how many passing yards the QB’s threw for and how many rushing yards the running backs got. over all this is a really good article.

This article did a good job of explaining how the Sea-hawks and Patriots got into the Super Bowl. Explaining how far each team has gotten throughout the season especially with Seattle winning their second Super Bowl in the entire history of the NFL

This article did a good job of explaining how each team is and details about the teams. One suggestion for improvement is to maybe add like stats so we know how the teams are. I liked how it talks about the predictions and it would be even better if the writer added there previous super bowl that these to teams played in and talked about how they thing it’s gonna be now.
Francisco Canela Ramos • Feb 13, 2026 at 10:21 am
This article did a good job explaining both teams really well and gave all the effective stats for the game prior to it happening, and he even gave his predictions, having it well explained.
