The cross country team has faced great success in the latest meets. Many of the runners achieved new personal bests and gained medals in their section. Plus, the new runners tackling their first 3 mile and 5k races.
Hanford Invitational
On September 20th was the Hanford Invitational at Hickey Park, where each grade section ran 2 miles except for 11th and 12th grade boys who ran 3 miles. Everyone in the team did great during this meet even while running a tough course. Ten of the runners on the Dinuba team won a medal for making it to the top ten in their section.

51st Annual Douglas P. Rudolf Invitational
On September 27th was the 51st Annual Douglas P. Rudolf Invitational at Mooney Grove Park, where everyone ran a 5k race, which is 3.1 miles all together. The top 25 in every section were rewarded with a medal. This was a tough race, but nonetheless the racers pulled through and obtained personal bests or medals by making it to the top 25.

WYL Midseason Cluster
On October 4th was the WYL Midseason Cluster, at Hickey Park, where all runners ran a 3 mile race. This race presented a similar course as the Hanford Invitational, but a mile longer. Quite a few Dinuba racers were out due to injury, but the ones who weren’t performed very well and obtained new personal best, even through the extreme California heat.
