Both Boys & Girls Dinuba Basketball teams ended the season on a high note. They finished the season on Tuesday, February 11 strong as the Boys won their last game against Mission Oak at home, as they won 73-61. The Girls ended their season beating Mission Oak in Tulare by the score being 55-35, as it was a blowout win.
The Girls Basketball team has been on an absolute tear against their opponents as they finished the season with a 21-5 (.808) record. They finished undefeated against league play as they went 10-0 against all teams. They rattled off 13 straight wins to finish the season off. The last loss they had was well over a month and a half ago on December 30 of last year. This is their best record since the 2021-22 season as they were 19-9 (.679) and 10-2 in league play. They had their Senior Night against Tulare Union, giving the Girls their righteous farewell, as they won 53-31 on February 6th. Playoffs start for the Girls on February 15th , as they take on San Luis Obispo for the first round of Division II Central Section Playoffs on the road at 5:30 on that Saturday Evening.
The Boys had their Senior Night on the night they faced off against Mission Oak on that win. They finished the season on a good note as they went 17-11 (.607). They unfortunately didn’t win league as they went 6-4 and finished in 3rd place. They’re also heading into playoffs with full steam, as they won 9 out of their 11 games. The Boys are to play against Righetti at home on February 15 to start off the first round of Division III Central Section Playoffs.
