“The Devil Wears Prada 2” is a really good movie. It has the same fashion drama, and the characters are just as strong as in the previous movie. Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) goes back to the fashion world years later, and Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) is still running the fashion magazine Runway, with her signature attitude and high expectations.
The movie wasn’t as memorable as the original, but still very good, and I enjoyed watching it. One reason I liked it was the characters. Miranda is still very intimidating, but the sequel shows a softer side of her personality. Andy has become more mature and gained more confidence in the twenty years since leaving Miranda and Runway behind.
A strong part of the movie was the fashion. The outfits were very stylish and modern, and the movie does show how hard the fashion industry is. It was a glamorous setting, but it shows how stressful success can be. I liked how the film balanced fashion with personal struggles, which made the story more realistic. However, the movie had some parts where I was a little bit iffy about, like how some scenes are predictable and are just too similar to the original film, but overall, the movie was still enjoyable.
Overall, I think “The Devil Wears Prada 2” was a good sequel that most fans would enjoy it. Maybe it isn’t as good as the original, but the fashion, humor, and drama made it good and entertaining.
