Dinuba High School had its annual Fall Harvest on Wednesday, October 29th. Students enjoyed an extended lunch schedule, though it was a closed campus. The weather was pleasant, and students came out to show their school spirit by supporting clubs and classes that were selling food items.
Several clubs and classes were also selling food, as were food trucks. Some student favorites were mini pancakes, pizza pretzels, and cinnamon rolls, all sold by the culinary department.
“I stood for like over 10 minutes waiting in line for these mini pancakes, and it was so worth it,” shared a student. “I hope they bring them back next year!”
Other students had other opinions.
“I like this [cinnamon roll], but it was pretty expensive,” complained another student. “I paid five dollars for this, and that was like half of my money.”
Besides the food, there were also opportunities for students to learn about the dangers of drugs during Red Ribbon Week. There was a Red Ribbon stand that provided important information about the dangers of drugs and made it fun for students by offering prizes for answering drug-related questions correctly.
