Because of limited options and lower sales, many local residents choose to travel to nearby cities like Visalia or Fresno for better discounts and a wider selection of stores. These cities offer popular retailers such as Target, Best Buy, Hollister, and Aeropostale, as well as larger malls that attract shoppers seeking the classic Black Friday experience.

Another reason Black Friday feels quieter in Dinuba is the rise of Cyber Monday. With more people preferring convenience over crowds, online shopping has become the new go-to for deals. Many Dinuba families now skip the early-morning rush entirely, choosing to shop from home where discounts are just a click away. People in this town find it so much easier to just click to buy something than wait in line or not find anything in person.
